Looking for prom ideas? Consider renting a limo. You and your party can make a big splash at one of the most memorable events of your lifetime. Renting a limo is a responsibility, but do not feel that you are in this alone. Here are some tips:

Price - When deciding on price, there are a number of factors, such as the length of time as well as the amount of riders. Remember, some limo operators will charge you during the entire prom event, even though the vehicle is parked. The reason for this is the chauffeur is at your beck and call for the night. Your cost can be better absorbed with a head count of ten or more and if everyone equally splits the rental charges. Also, find out about additional costs.

Is Cheaper Better? - Everybody is looking for a bargain, but you often get what you pay for. Thoroughly research a number of limo companies. Yelp or Wedding Wire reviews or online customer feedback are good sources to determine the best prom limo vendor. A ridiculously low-priced limo might indicate an older model or a vehicle that is not well maintained. Ask if you can see the limo before renting.

Size Matters - Don’t overbook when selecting a prom limo. If your party consists of 8 people, hold off from renting one that seats 20 or more. This is another reason to find out an exact headcount. If the ladies are going for the large, fancy dresses, add a couple more passengers to the count in an effort to allow for the extra room.

Reserve Early - When it comes to a big event such as a prom, keep in mind that there are only so many limos to go around. The best ones usually go first. Begin your search at least a month prior to the prom to ensure a plentiful selection.

Other factors to consider when contracting for a prom limo are the behavior of the passengers. Every operator will insist that the riders follow pre-established guidelines. If you are in charge of securing the prom limo, let everyone know the rental responsibilities.

Have a playlist ready, as many limos have iPod hookups and CD players.

Enjoy this celebration that marks a milestone in your life. Rent a prom limo and keep it safe!!
